Cookies & browser storage
Updated November 4, 2026. These controls apply to the current private pilot.
Essential storage
Firebase/Google sign-in uses browser storage for authentication and security. Pit Board stores your privacy preference under pitboard.privacy.v1 in local storage, including a version, optional-analytics choice and time saved. This preference contains no account identifier and persists until replaced or browser storage is cleared. Choices are separate on each hostname and device.
Optional analytics
No Google Analytics script, analytics cookies, advertising tags or cookieless analytics pings are enabled by Pit Board. Accepting optional analytics saves a preference only. Rejecting it keeps the same app functionality. You can change your choice below at any time.
Managing storage
Use Privacy choices to change your preference. Use Sign out to end your app session; your browser's site-data settings can clear stored sessions and preferences. Clearing browser storage does not delete your cloud profile or laps. Use Account & privacy in the app to request cloud-account deletion.
